Connie Ekker-Steegs is a Dutch artist, who lives nearby the forest and flower fields, which are her source of inspiration. She makes oil paintings on panel according to the techniques of the old masters.
Characteristic of her work are realistic reflections of women, butterflies and flowers in combination with a sphere of light, that arises naturally from her emotions on the panel. Since 2003 she works full-time in her studio. Each painting is accompanied by one of her poems.
